Captain is an affectionate boy with 101 races to his name. He began his career at Southland under trainer Arvester Crawford and finished his career in Wheeling, WV with the Blanchard Kennel under trainer James Blanchard. We would also like to thank racing owner and breeder, Ryan O’Donnell (Danielle O’Donnell ) at Northshore Kennel for entrusting us to find this sweet guy a retirement home.

What’s In A Name?
Like all O’Donnell dogs, Captain’s registered racing name “Ike Lee” has special significance. Captain and two of his sisters were named in memory of the breeder’s young cousin, Hayden. To honour his memory, “Ike Lee” is the pronunciation of Hayden’s surname. Thank you to Captain’s breeders at Northshore Kennel for sharing this story.
